In the era of network, the development of information technology for the popularization of special education and promotion of the education fair has brought new opportunities. At the same time, the development of technology, especially the barrier-free technology research and the development of the Assisi products provide great convenience for the disabled people’s learning, life and work. Under the background of the technology development and vigorously building CEAC, applying information technology in special education, realizing the special education informatization has became the development direction of modern special education.The purpose of this study is to comb the theoretical achievements of special education informatization domestic and overseas and the practical experience, carrying on the beneficial exploration for building China’s special education informatization theory system. Through a case study, putting forward the opinions and suggestions to optimize the special education informatization construction. Promoting the development of the school education informatization, as well as providing reference for other special education school information construction.In this study, in the first, stated the background of the special education informatization and the research status, and defined the relevant concepts. The current research on special education informatization mainly refers to the six elements of education informatization research model, which did not reflect the particularity of special education. The author based on the characteristics of special education and special education informatization, referring to the research model of education informatization, constructing the special education informatization research model, and compiling the questionnaire about the educational informatization construction status in the special educational school.Through questionnaire and interview, the study has found that the informatization construction of Lanzhou blind deaf-mute school exists the following problems: Although the network environment was basically completed, but there are still lacking in support of students’ autonomous learning, and it needs to further optimize and be systematized. Information resources construction is slow, existing resources pertinence is not strong. In the view of the different types of teaching resource allocation and distribution is unreasonable, subject teachers and leaders’ awareness about the importance of high quality resources in optimization of teaching is not enough. Special equipment and function room construction has not yet reached the requirements of the ministry of education, and exists partiality and waste phenomenon. Teachers’ teaching ability of information technology is insufficient. The training lack of pertinence and practicability. The narrow information technology courses, the teaching effect is not ideal. Information technology and curriculum integration degree is not high, as a teaching tool didn’t play a role of maximum. Students’ computer operation ability is limited, disparity between different age, different barriers students. Using social software and lack of the consciousness of the use of information technology assisted learning. Information literacy needs to be improved.Finally, aiming at the above problems, combined with the excellent cases of special education information construction, from the three dimensions of information technology in special education hardware environment, software environment and human resources environment put forward optimization strategies. In the construction of the hardware environment, not only to reflect the characteristics of education, but also to meet the special requirement. In the construction of software environment, strengthen the responsibility of information promotion of the main body of different levels, pay attention to special education digital resources construction. In the construction of human resource environment, the application of information technology teaching, improve students’ ability to adapt to the information society.
