With the advent of the information age,the information technology has become one of the important skills in people’s daily life. Besides, more and more educational researchers around the world pay more attention to information technology education.In high school, information technology course is an important part of information technology education, a main method to improve the information literacy between the teachers and students and a basis on the information technology education. However,with the impact of the baton in the college entrance examination, it is well-known that information technology teaching has been neglected in high school, which not only hinders the improvement of students’ information literacy, but also affects the process of educational modernization in China. Therefore, we must carry on the reform of high school information technology teaching. Based on the study of a large number of relevant literature at home and abroad, the study deeply understood the present characteristics, advantages and application of the flipped classroom. Combined with the teaching situation of high school information technology in our country, the study tells that the flipped classroom teaching mode is applied to the high school information technology teaching, which is helpful to change the status of information technology teaching in high school.This study uses the literature research method, questionnaire method, interview method and experimental method to further carry out the research. After reading the relevant theoretical study of the flipped classroom, the author did a lot about the research based on the analysis of the connotation of the flipped classroom. In addition,the author referred to the domestic and foreign successful cases of the flipped classroom.What’s more, the author took the students of Class 3 Grade 1, No. 5 Middle School in Qin’an County, Tianshui City as the research object. Through the questionnaire and observation to the status of students of information technology level and considering the premise of students’ characteristics, the author combined with the characteristics of high school information technology course, used the mode of the flipped classroom teaching to design and further develop the information technology courses of senior high school in short term. And in the actual teaching process, the author designed the corresponding teaching case of information technology course in high school based on the teachingtheory and teaching model of the flipped classroom. The author tested the curriculum design by practice to improve the course continuously and finally proposed the specific processes and implemental method of information technology of the flipped classroom.And finally the study proved the feasibility of the application of the flipped classroom teaching in high school information technology and the effectiveness of the experimental results, which confirms that the flipped classroom has certain advantages in cultivating students’ information literacy and improving their self-learning ability, and then we teachers should teach students to receive the flipped classroom with a positive attitude. At last, based on the teaching practice, the author put forward the key factors to affecting the teaching model and used strategy. And it also provided the feasible advice to improve the flipped classroom in the future, and the author expects that the study can be good for the high school information technology teaching with the flipped classroom teaching model.
