School curriculum reform based on top-design principle for short the top-design of school curriculum, on the one hand it means we should regard school curriculum reform from the angle of top-design principle, on the other hand it means we should apply the strategy of top-design to school reform. The top-design of school reform is aimed at making school curriculum plays maximum function and using the strategy of top design to structure the system of school curriculum. The top-design of school curriculum is based on achievement of school construction before, and it point out that the reform of school curriculum should be systematically. The importance of top-design school curriculum gradually realized by people who cared about the reform of school curriculum. At present, lots of school are trying to top-design their curriculum supported by curriculum experts. But there are few research on top-designing school curriculum, some research just is an introduction of school’s curriculum reform. Besides, there exist the problem of vague conception and superficialness on research of the top-design of school curriculum.Top-design as a method of science or a kind way of design based on the theory of systematology, cybemetics and synergetics, emphasizing on integrality, overall importance, essentialist, and so on, has formed a system of methodology. School curriculum reform based on top-design principle has features of systematic, ordering, stability, feedback, chronicity.Through analyzing the the paper of five schools about curriculum reform and investigating thoroughly into the primary school system named H, it can be seen that the course reformation of the six schools has the characteristics of the top-design principles. They all attaches great importance to forming a curriculum reform team; They all pay attention to the educational philosophy and curriculum goal in the process of curriculum reform; They all investigate and utilize curriculum resources for school reform; They all emphasize on school-based curriculum implementation; They all integrate school curriculum and construct curriculum system.To top-design school curriculum, schools needs appropriate internal and external conditions, such as enough courses, mature philosophy thought of school education, the external forces to support school etc, these conditions are available curriculum resources for schools.To scan the curriculum of six schools again I found that their school curriculum reform are based on their curriculum resources and guided by their school philosophy. This way of top-designing school curriculum we can called "resources- generation model".The "resources- generation model” is a way of top-designing school curriculum systematically, emphasizing the integration of all courses in schools and reforming a school curriculum system. After integrating different kinds of courses systematically, the curriculum implements in education then adjust and update according to actual demands of teaching and learning.
