Open educational resources movement emerged under the background of rapid development of Internet technology and it has produced profound influence on promoting the fairness higher education resource in the world. The open educational resources movement developed so quickly like a raging fire around the world that many countries, university and educational institutions respond actively. The excellent open courses constructed in 2011 is the response of China, which has created an enormous impetus to the construction of educational informationization, lifelong education, fairness of education and learning society in China. Excellent Video Open Class as an important part of excellent open course, refers to seeing the university students as the main services, at the same time it is a network video courses in science and culture free to the public. After three years of vigorous development, the construction of Excellent Video Open Class has produced great influences on college students and the public, but the time of clicks is unsatisfactorily comparing with the public class abroad and it still can not fully play its utility in the teaching practice. By combing the data, the majority of researchers did their researches from the aspects of shoot production, sharing mechanism, the effect of application and so on, but there is few results made from the teaching essence to research on Excellent Video Open Class. Therefore the author chooses the perspective of teaching to research and analyze the Excellent Video Open Class, explore the advantages and disadvantages in teaching characteristics and teaching behaviors and puts forward the corresponding proposal of Excellent Video Open Class.This research has the following aspects.The first part of the introduction: On the basis of the international background of the rise of open educational resources, the social background about the construction of learning type society in China and the difficulties faced by excellent open courses after the emerge of MOOC, expounds the research purpose, significance, content, ideas and methods of this study and finally clear the sample selection in this study.The second part: The related concept of the Excellent Video Open Class, teaching characteristics of Excellent Video Open Class and teaching behaviors of Excellent Video Open Class will be detailedly identity. At the same time, organize the literature of the Excellent Video Open Class, teaching characteristics of Excellent Video Open Class and teaching behaviors of Excellent Video Open Class.The third part: The teaching characteristics of Excellent Video Open Class will be analyzed. Analysis and research from the aspect of topics design, teaching design, teachers and network communication and so on. This study selects some samples by using content analysis and statistical analysis.The fourth part: This study explore the specific problems in the teaching of Excellent Video Open Class from the microscopic perspective. Select two courses and design the coding analysis table follow the Flanders interaction analysis system to code its teaching activities according to the time order. And then analysis the detail problems existing in the teaching of excellent video open class.The fifth part: This conclusion comes to fifth part, which is made from five aspects of topic design, teachers, teaching design, network communication and teaching behavior and then put forward to expanding the coverage of topics, improving the comprehensive quality of teachers team, using various teaching strategies with the help of teaching media, creating a good environment of network communication, paying attention to the design of teaching behavior in teaching activities and so on and looking forward to the researchers to examine the construction course from the teaching essence and to provide reference for the follow-up courses construction.The sixth part: Problems existing in the development of open curriculum in china should be paid attention to and envisage the research prospect of this thesis when all the world are praising excellent video open class and MOOC such good education prospects.
