In the 21st century, science and technology develops rapidly. In order to cultivate qualified talents and keep up with the times, schools at home and aboard attempt to apply the flipped classroom model into the teaching so as to solve the problems in the traditional classroom which are not good to the individualized learning, the development of innovation ability, the learning interest and the independent learning ability. This paper focuses on the model of flipped classroom based on a low cost platform that can be widely promoted. The main works are as following:The first part is to review the literature to tell the connotations and advantages in the flipped classroom model and summarize the status of researches and practice in it.The second part is to analysis the models of the flipped classroom home and aboard to give out the reasons why the flipped classroom cannot be promoted widely,and then give out strategies to solve these problems.The third part is to design a low cost platform flipped classroom model depending on the strategies and then explain the details.The fourth part is to apply this model into practice teaching and a case of teaching design in 8th Grade Physics will be presented.The last part is to make some investigations among teachers, parents and students and then draw a conclusion of this new model.According to the research above, we can get the following conclusions:①the new model is beneficial to be promoted widely; ② the teachers think the new model is good; ③the new model is welcomed by parents;④the new model is popular with the students,and it can improve students’ abilities.
