With the rapid development of information technology, teaching reform of college is also intense in progress, more attention to the comprehensive development of the quality of personnel training. Constructing a new teaching mode to improve students’ ability of expression,autonomous learning ability, cooperative learning ability and practical ability is critical.The researcher has learned about the students of computer science and technology major in the Bohai University. Found some shortcomings in the course of Computer Network, which are mainly reflected in several aspects:1. Learning resources are not rich enough;2. Students lack of practical ability;3.Lack of teachers’ guidance and cooperation between students after class.Therefore, researchers have proposed based MOOC "Computer Network" Course flipped classroom teaching mode, to supplement the existing curriculum, improve students’ learning interest, autonomous learning ability, expression ability, cooperative learning ability and practical ability, students say they are willing to try.Firstly, the researcher discusses the research background of this paper, describes the research status of the flipped classroom and the flipped classroom based on the MOOC platform, the teaching situation of the course of computer network in colleges and universities,and introduces the research meaning, content, method and innovation point. Then through reading and studying a large amount of relevant literature, introduce the characteristics of flipped classroom and MOOC. Secondly, discusses the disadvantages of the traditional teaching mode and the advantages of the MOOC based on flipped classroom teaching mode. The MOOC platform which is suitable for the application of the research is selected through the analysis index of the MOOC platform, and the teaching mode based on MOOC is constructed. The paper introduces the concept of the construction, the teaching objectives, the implementation of the conditions, the operation steps and evaluation criteria of the new teaching mode. Thirdly,through the analysis of the "computer network" course and the analysis of learners, complete the teaching design of the flipped classroom teaching mode based on MOOC Computer Network, including teaching objectives and teaching content. Finally, the experimental class was selected to verify the application and the teaching effect of based on MOOC Computer Network course flipped classroom teaching mode.Through the study of application and the design of the "computer network" course flipped classroom teaching mode based on MOOC platform found that this teaching model has a positive effect on improving students’ learning interest, cooperative consciousness, autonomous learning ability and practical ability.
