As a large-scale on-line open course, MOOC stirs a teaching storm from the higher education to the primary education like an earthquake. Different classes have different attitudes toward MOOC. Some "stand for" MOOC and others doubt it. The foreign countries especially UK conducted a special investigation in the primary education in face of the problem. With such methods as literature, history, case analysis and comparative, this paper firstly introduced the connotation, significance and background of MOOC, and then explores the background and the development of MOOC who was introduced into the primary education in UK. Afterwards, it highlights the practices and the challenges of MOOC in primary and secondary schools. Then the paper discusses the strategies that were taken when MOOC facing challenges. At last, it introduces the features of MOOC implemented in UK and the value to our country.
