In recent years, China’s middle school students’ physical quality decline, it will seriously affect the country’s prosperity and development, this problem has caused high attention from all walks of life. With the implementation of the new curriculum standard and the deepening of the new curriculum reform, the new curriculum standard for middle school sports teaching adhere to promote the development of students’ various aspects quality harmony principle, in the sports teaching, should be based on the nature of the middle school sports teaching to build the new curriculum content system. To meet the basic requirement of the new course reform of physical education teachers, it must be according to the principles of the inheritance and development, the teaching skill of modern physical education teachers should have a further analysis and research. In the field of physical education, the development of the teachers’ teaching skills, more and more become the hot topic in education. “High school education is the foundation of our country education, it personnel training for the future of our country plays an important role”. With the development of era, the sports teaching in the information of knowledge and ability, synchronization of physical education teachers teaching skills changes, also more and more strict to the requirement of physical education teachers teaching skills. Therefore, to improve physical education teachers teaching skills, strengthen the cultivation and development of physical education teachers teaching ability, is not only improve the teaching quality of physical education and improve the requirement of middle school students’ physical health, but also the requirement of the reform of physical education.Based on three areas of linyi nine counties in a random sample of 96 middle school physical education teachers as the research object. Paper summarized in the process of research USES the literature material law, questionnaire investigation, expert interview method, case study method, mathematical statistics and other research methods, from the aspect of theory with practice more analysis of linyi city high school sports teachers’ current teaching skills, the problem existing in problem tentatively puts forward the strategy to solve the problem. To the development of linyi city middle school physical education teachers teaching skills to provide theoretical reference, as well as to promote the smooth development of basic education, make our country foundation education career to a higher level.
