Education originates from our life and serves our life in return, both are intimately connected with each other, As a famous educator(Tao Xingzhi) put it: “education is integral part of life, it comes from life and take life as its destination.” With the increasing attention to the education, deficiency in the traditional education is being discovered and corrected. New curriculum proposes a “education connected with student life and social reality” idea, which means the purpose of education is not only to improve the student`s learning skills, but also teach students how to get along well with people, how to deal with difficulties and how to live a better life. Ideological and ethical education, as a basic course which is aimed to cultivate good quality in students, should be reformed in a better and more efficient way, traditional indoctrination should be changed, students should be freed from the old passive learning method, keep the Ideological and ethical education always alive and refreshed, and show the education its true charm.This paper, which is divided into five parts, mainly focus on the current status in ideological and ethical education in the middle school, employ the questionnaire investigation and life-oriented teaching theory to take a closer look at reality detachment in ideological and ethical education. This paper form the preparation before class, the introduction of classroom, the exhibition of classroom, the evaluation after class, coming up with the concrete measures to put this theory into practice. Finally,it in the form of the case to show the implying of those measures, and to summarize all the content of the paper. The purpose of paper is trying to reflect its original purpose, improve its efficiency and explore the combination of the teaching theory and practice.
