Research On The Promotion Of Students’ Professional Ability In Accounting Major In Y Vocational College

With the development of social economy in China, different kinds of jobs in society need different requirements of accounting professionals. Higher vocational education has developed for more than thirty years, and now it has become an indispensable component in higher education in China. With the sharp increasing of the number of graduates, the employment situation is becoming increasingly severe. Nowadays, higher vocational college gradually pays much more attention to students’ professional skills and professional quality in the aspect of personnel training. Vocational ability has become the important criteria for talent demand in different companies in the new century, and it is also the important factor in the aspect of job competition, work development and the success of promotion. Therefore, according to the urgent employment situation, all kinds of higher vocational colleges should strengthen the students’ vocational ability cultivation and promotion, and create the high quality talent of technology and skill for the society.With the development of economy, accounting becomes much more important. The economy cannot be separated from the accounting, vice versa. The goal of higher vocational education is to train high quality talent of technology who is engaged in related professional work and needed by the society, not only understands the theoretical knowledge of his major but also has skilled operating ability. The promotion of the professional ability of the students from accounting major is core issues in the trailing of accounting professional talents. Accounting professional ability is a necessary condition to work in the field of accounting for every student from accounting major. Therefore, accounting education in higher vocational colleges is absolutely necessary.After consulting related literature, this paper does some research in taking Y Vocational College as the research object, according to the cultivation plan of the talent of accounting major, the test standard of professional core ability, the current status of students in college, and the employment situation of graduates. After Analysis and research, there are some key issues in the aspect of the promotion of professional skill of the students in the college, and at the same time, the paper gives the operational improvement measures. It means to build a perfect and practical training system of vocational ability of higher vocational accounting, and to show some practical advices in order to promote their professional ability for students from accounting major in high vocational college in China.
