Writing composition is an important way for primary school students to express and communicate by means of languages, and it is also a process for students to understand the world, to understand themselves, and to do creative expressions. However, affected by the impact of exam-oriented education, the pupils are generally tired and afraid of writing compositions, which means they have little interest in writing, as a result, their articles are vacuous, limited in a pattern, full of adult expressions, and without innocence that children should have. In view of this, on basis of analyzing the current composition teaching method and teaching status, according to the features and tasks of different stages in primary school, and with the author’s teaching experience, this paper has mainly studied composition teaching effect of low and high grades of primary school and an interest-oriented composition teaching method has been put forward. It includes four chapters:Chapter one mainly introduces the feasibility of interest-oriented composition teaching method for primary school, including problems and analysis of composition teaching and feasibility analysis of interest-oriented composition teaching.Chapter two aims to explain the relative theories of interest-oriented composition teaching method for primary school, which are theoretical and practical basis for doing relative teaching and research.Chapter three presents the research and application of composition teaching for low grades.Chapter four shows the research and application of composition teaching for high grades.On basis of previous studies and present teaching experience, and by learning relative theories, this study has chosen five primary schools in Xingtai as subjects. Through research and practice of interest-oriented composition teaching, it has been found that students show strong interest in this method and they are obviously motivated in writing, moreover, their writing level has been improved significantly. It is hoped that this paper is able to bring some vigor and vitality to Chinese teaching.
