In the global information under the trend of economic trade and social and cultural development in the world the aspect, has been infiltrated by advanced information technology. English, as a universal language, with such information and will occur on the education reform. Under the influence of economic globalization, English application become more widely. Therefore, in English teaching, teachers need to infect students with popular art teaching methods. Teachers should guide students to inspire, to keep pace with the times, skilled in the operation of multimedia and network information technology, the rich and meaningful video materials to assist English teaching. As a creative tool for teaching in the English teaching by the traditional patterns become more lively and dull as ditch water, more influential. Allows students to learn at the same time, get rich and conducive to the perception of life Positive energy information for the healthy growth of life.Through investigations and questionnaires, using SPSS software, the paper analyzes data collected for the subject matter. Careful studies on the statistical data and detailed comparative analyses on the preliminary evidence that is taken from the video assisted English teaching in senior high school reveal the full play in the language(vector) function and improvement of the interests of students in English learning. Videos assist teachers in taking comprehensive classroom, and enhance students’ abilities making them understand western culture, and better their own literature accomplishment.In the end, this paper puts forward some practical problems and some suggestions on the application and development of the assistant English Teaching of film and television resources.
