Connecting the elderly in the pastoral areas and the office workers in the city who want to short trips, the social worker links the natural resources and the social resources. In consequence, it can solved the problem that the elderly who can’t obtain the necessities directly.As a new profession, Social work, its aims to help people and groups who caught in a predicament, to realize help one to help himself. The research enriched and replenished mode of localization of social work practice,based on the theory of social work for the elderly, introduction of aspecific region,——the Mongolian pastoral areas, in the form of the advantages of the elderly in the pastoral areas.It is the case of alone elderly family in the pastoral areas which the social worker based on, in this paper, used the advantage resources link to director, aimed to explore the patterns of geriatric social work in the pastoral areas. The study found that in the process of the elderly commodity purchase in pastoral areas, not only can solve the problem of elderly purchase commodity but also strengthen them contact the society, avoid them to “separate” society,help them building confident state of mind. In the end, the social workers evaluation the effect by questionnaire investigation at before and after, found that not only solve the elderly purchase necessities problem in the pastoral areas, but become more self-confident. Therefore, we can conclude that it has a good effects that social worker interferes the elderly necessaries purchase.
