since the period of the May 4th Movement of 1919,Chinese fairy tales have changed from the folk fairy tales into creative fairy tales,which become a kind of independent style with the concept of fairy tale in the modern sense.The current Sue of Chinese textbooks for primary school contain large number of fairy tales,whose importance is self-evident.Fairy tale is a kind of literature style which is deeply loved by primary students,and it has special value in their growth,thus the research of selected fairy tale of textbook is particularly important.Research on the number,compiling contents,compiling features of selected fairy tale of Sue of Chinese textbooks for primary school could raise some suggestions for the textbook compiling as well as enhance the level of fairy tales of textbook.At the same time,it allows Chinese teacher to get better comprehension of fairy tales in the textbook,which can bring enlightenment to fairy tales teaching.The research begins with the compiling of Sue of Chinese textbooks for primary school,based on the related articles,it compiled the chart of fairy tale work and analyzed the data and fund that the selected fairy tale of Sue of Chinese textbooks for primary school has some problems like the uneven distribution of structure,the lack of classic fairy tales,denseness of knowledge caution an so on.All these problems are not caused unilaterally by textbook editors,but with the limit of textbook editors,curriculum standards and cultural tradition.Based on the problem analysis of fairy tale compiling,the research puts forward the solutions from children’s functional perspective as well as the instruction of aesthetic theory:there should be a small amount of a fairy tale in Grade five and six,and make the selected fairy tale comprehensive and systematic and focus on the connection of fairy tale between senior and junior school. Increasing the number of classic fairy tales in the whole set of textbook and create the linkage in-class study and after-class reading.paying more attention to the literary value of selected fairy tales’ content, as well as returning to the innocence of children.
