Starting from basic theories regarding personnel training mode in technical schools of our country, it probes into the constituent elements of this mode, systematically summarizes its historical development in our country, and makes a careful analysis about the existing problems in the current operating mechanism. By making a comparison with the advanced personnel training modes of vocational schools in western developed countries, we aim to find the related causes for the hindrance of development of such mechanisms in our country. Through a detailed study, we come to a conclusion that only by changing our beliefs, accelerating governmental legislation, catering for the market demands and strengthening the faculty’s capacities, can we effectively improve the personnel training mechanisms of technical schools in our country.The thesis is composed of five parts. The first part is an introduction, elaborating on the research background, the significance of this study and the methods involved. In the second part some basic theories regarding talent cultivation mechanism of technical schools are to be stated, which include theoretical basis, legal and policy support, reality basis, and the constituent elements of the mechanism. The third part summarizes the historical development of talent cultivation mechanism of vocational education, makes an analysis of the reality and points out related problems. Then in the fourth part a comparative study is made on vocational education in western developed countries, aiming to find out the similarities among western countries in talent cultivation mechanism of secondary vocational education and shed new light on the ways and methods to improve the current mechanism in our country. Lastly, in order to improve its methods and feasibility, the fifth part emphasizes the importance of talent cultivation mechanism for technical schools from both micro and macro perspectives, aiming to provide some advisory opinions and suggestions for its development.
