As the high educated talents in the society, the psychological health of master graduates has been widely concerned. Coping style is a kind of method to relieve emotional tension, maintain psychological balance and regulate behavior to adapt to the environment. Individuals are influenced themselves subjective experiences by It. So coping style is closely associated with the individual subjective well-being. As an important indicator of the quality of life and mental health, subjective well being can predict mental health of master graduates. Research on subjective well-being and coping style of master graduates by means of survey is of significance to the individual’s development.The study adopts the International Survey Scale (ICS) edited by Diener etal and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ) by Xie Yaning to test 477 master graduates from six colleges in Nanjing. Spss21.0 is employed to process and analyze the data, and the conclusions as follows:1. Subjective well-being of surveyed master graduates is better than the middle level.2. General subjective well-being of surveyed master graduates has significant differences in profession, grade and marriage; but gender, school type, hometown and the average cost of monthly do not affect the subjective well-being significantly. Life satisfaction of surveyed master graduates has significant differences in gender, grade, school type, hometown and marriage; but profession and the average cost of monthly do not affect the subjective well-being significantly. Positive emotions of surveyed master graduates has significant differences in grade, school type, marriage and the average cost of monthly; but profession, gender and hometown do not affect the subjective well-being significantly. Negative emotions of surveyed master graduates has significant differences in profession, grade, school type, marriage; but gender, hometown and the average cost of monthly do not affect the subjective well-being significantly.3. Coping style of surveyed master graduates adopt more positive coping style and less negative coping style.4. Positive coping style of surveyed master graduates has significant differences in gender, profession, grade, hometown and marriage; but school type and the average cost of monthly do not affect the subjective well-being significantly. Negative coping style of surveyed master graduates has significant differences in school type and the average cost of monthly; but gender, profession, grade, hometown and marriage do not affect the subjective well-being significantly.5. Subjective well-being and coping style of surveyed master graduates show significant related. Positive coping style of surveyed master graduates is positively correlated with general subjective well-being, life satisfaction and positive emotions while it is negatively correlated with negative coping; Negative coping style of surveyed master graduates are negatively correlated with general subjective well-being, life satisfaction and positive emotions while it is positively correlated with negative coping.6. The result of regression analysis shows that coping style can predict the subjective well-being of surveyed master graduates to some extent.7. Therefore, the study shows that subjective well-being and coping style of surveyed master graduates are not bad and they have a close relationship. Coping style can predict the subjective well-being of surveyed master graduates to some extent. Based on the above, the author made the following targeted recommendations and measures to promote master graduates’ subjective well-being and life quality: master graduates establish the correct view of well-being, adopt more positive coping style, build mental defensive mechanism and set up right attribution. College and society should readjust accordingly scholarship and grants policies accordingly, create a good study environment and healthy life and provide more opportunities for practice.
