With the "Modern Distance Education", "school to school" project implementation, the higher requirements for the development of informatization of education of teachers in rural areas of information literacy education, the technical level of. At the same time, the rise of ideological trend of lifelong learning, learning society construction of the individual learning career extended from the stage of life, in the network era, learning style has undergone tremendous changes, no longer limited by time and space. Informal learning is an important form of lifelong learning,combined with the network learning, can become one of the main ways of rural teachers’ self development, as a supplement to formal learning, promote the rural teachers to keep pace with the times, continuous development.In this study the current development is the social network of rapid(Social Network Services,referred to as SNS) as a platform to build the network learning environment for teachers informal learning in rural primary and secondary schools, in order to find an improving teacher education teaching level of rural informal ways of learning, promote teachers’ lifelong learning. Based on the rural primary and secondary school teachers as the research object, using literature research method, questionnaire method and interview method, based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign related research present situation, research on the following aspects:First, under the lifelong learning, social constructivism, knowledge management and the long tail theory background, through the study of literature at home and abroad on the "rural teachers", "informal learning" and "SNS education" research comb, understand the research status at home and abroad and the related concepts.Second, through a questionnaire survey and interviews, analysis of rural primary and junior school teachers educational technology ability, learning needs, the existing problems and the usage of SNS, to explore the feasibility of rural informal learning of primary and junior school teachers in the use of SNS.Third, from the technical level to discuss the feasibility of constructing SNS informal learning platform, and the development of a SNS based on the rural primary and junior school teachers informal learning platform, finally, through a period of trial platform, learning effect analysis, the teachers put forward suggestions for further improvement of the platform.Fourth, through the platform to build and use, has reached the expected target, which laid a foundation for the future large-scale use of rural teachers.
