The development of education is always a critical subject of the economic life in China. Private education has made rapid development with the relaxed restriction of education policy, and has become the main force of the education in China. Private higher education is also regarded as another important pillar of Chinese higher education. More emphasis on higher education by the state and society,the change of social environment and the influence of public opinion direction and so on, bring new opportunities of the growth and development of university teachers. However, it also increases the teachers’ work pressure and produces the phenomenon of job burnout. Teachers’ job burnout from the work also react to the work itself, and this has influenced teaching quality,interfered with the normal life, health of body and mind. Private university teachers are different from the Public university teachers because of its social position,teaching environment and platform of scientific research.In recent years, although the study of university teachers’ job burnout has achieved some results, but most mature questionnaires did’t consider the change of the environment. This paper, on the basis of the job burnout of existing research results, designs questionnaires about Private university teachers’ job burnout by surveying more than 400 teachers of 12 private universities in five provinces and cities in China. standing on the basis of job burnout of existing research results,combining with the characteristics in Private university teachers, this paper, showed the status quo of the teacher’s job burnout and analyzed the different Private university teachers’ job burnout by investigation.We find that the overall level of teachers’ job burnout is in the upper middle class. But the overall teachers’ job burnout and the job burnout in emotional exhaustion,physical fatigue,communication disorders,low achievement are different. In order to improve the management of the Private university teachers and promote the development of Private university and Private education,this paper will put forward the countermeasures and suggestions in the end. This proposal is divided into two parts,the first part is seven different characteristics of the Private university teachers to reduce the job burnout; The second part proposes relevant countermeasures from the society,the government,the schools and the teachers’ four angles to improve private colleges teachers’ working environment, improve the quality of teaching and puts forward the countermeasures of reducing the job burnout.
