With the extracurricular activities of boarding middle school students as the research object, this thesis mainly adopts the methods of documents, investigation and observation. The thesis predominantly analyzes the students’ extracurricular activities of two boarding middle schools near Lhasa and makes suggestions for relative problems to improve all-round development of boarding middle school students in Tibet and provide a reference for the creative education management. The thesis includes four parts:The first part primarily makes an introduction of research background and significance. Then the part collects some domestic and overseas materials about the extracurricular activities of boarding school students. Thirdly, the part shows the theoretical foundation and research methods of the thesis.The second part firstly introduces the basic situation of research object. Then the part makes field survey on boarding middle school students and educators through the methods of questionaire, interviewing and observation. The data analysis of questionaires and interview records are made to master the current situaton of the extracurricular activities of boarding middle school students. At last, the part illustrates a series of problems of irrational time using, low frequency, simple and dull contents, low utilization of facilities and lack of teachers in the extracurricular activities of boarding middle school students in Tibet through data, charts and graphs etc.The third part analyzes the factors that constrain the development of the extracurricular activities of boarding middle school students in Tibet through macro, meso and micro perspectives. The part concludes the factors into three tiers, namely the government, schools and families, teachers and students.The fourth part makes suggestions for the existing problems and restriction factors in the extracurricular activities of boarding middle school students in Tibet. The government should make and improve relative rules and laws, and strenghten supervision. What’s more, the school should strenghten culture construction and the family maintain consistency with the school, and the teacher improve himself, and the student be given full play to his initiative.
