The core concept of the new curriculum reform is to insist the “people-oriented”, to emphasize the integration, to improve the evaluation mechanism and to focus on the improvement of students’ ability of independent innovation and independent learning. The limited classroom learning time and learning content cannot meet students’ needs for the learning of professional courses. High school physics homework is an important segment in the teaching process, and it can consolidate students’ learned knowledge and provide feedback for the teaching effect. Under the background of the new curriculum reform, teachers should not only conduct classroom professional counseling, but also intensify students’ autonomous learning ability and actively explore innovative ability by scientific arrangement of homework. However, there are still a lot of problems in the current high school physics homework, which is not good for the development of all the students on the one hand, and makes the students lose confidence and interest in physics learning on the other hand. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct deep study on the design and evaluation feedback of high school physics homework and effectively improve the quality of high school physics homework, providing guidance for physics teachers’ later teaching on homework design and evaluation feedback.This project takes the high school physics homework in Guiyang City as the research subject. First of all, an investigation on the current situation of Guiyang City’s high school physic homework was conducted by questionnaire, individual interviews and other methods and the results were analyzed, concluding the current situation of high school physics homework. In view of the present situation and problems of the high school physics homework, theoretical knowledge of psychology and pedagogy are used for analysis. Based on this analysis, some teaching strategies aiming to improve high school physics homework are proposed and an experimental teaching was conducted in Guiyang No.1 Middle School. Based on one-term investigation and empirical study on the high school physics homework, several modifications and improvements have been made to consummate the improvement measures, finally forming a set of coping strategies in line with the current situation and problems of the physics homework.
