The Analysis On Influencing Factors Of Chinese Agricultural Products Import

From China joined the WTO in2001, China agriculture has been opened to theworld market. The association with China agriculture and world agriculture hasalready been changed. In the world trading system, as a big agriculture producer andconsumer, China has not only been attacked by international market, but also attractedby the international market.Currently, China agricultural products import has changed dramatically.According to the UNCONTRADE data, China has been the largest importer ofagricultural products in2011and the first time passed the U.S. Even the U.S. andChina produce uniform caliber is different; the data show that the status of Chineseagricultural imports in world agricultural imports has become increasingly important.This paper analyzes the current situation of Chinese agricultural import. And then thispaper will use the Constant Market Share model （CMS model）, the single marketmodel and the single product model to analyze the influencing factors of Chineseagricultural products import. The result shows that the influencing factors include: theChinese agricultural imports gravity, the world import demand for agriculturalproducts. And the Chinese agricultural imports gravity is the most important factor.Meanwhile this paper will use OLS to detect gravitational concrete manifestation ofChinese imports. In order to arrange the reasonable agricultural import and ensure theagri-industrial security, this paper will put forward some corresponding measuresaccording to the problems of the agricultural imports. These suggestions andstrategies might lessons the Chinese agricultural import policies and improving thequality of agricultural products import.The paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter one is the introduction. Introduction is the outline of the paper, whichstates the research background and meaning of the research. Last it revealed theresearch method and technical route.Chapter two analyzed the related literature. It combed the theoretical basis ofinternational trade. Finally, it reviewed the literature from three aspects of agriculturalimports.Chapter three analyzed the trade scale of agricultural. Using large amount of data,this chapter analyzes the export and import trade of agricultural. Chapter four is an empirical test. The paper used the CMS model, the singlemodel and the single product model to analyze the factors of the Chinese agriculturalimport.Chapter five is The Policy suggestions of the conclusion are put forward.Chapter six is conclusion.
