With the development of modern science and technology, enterprisesare increasingly expanding their influence. They used to focus on their owndevelopment, but today, they have to cooperate with all other enterprises onthe supply chain. Supply chain management is one of the importantapproaches which has attracted much attention from modern enterprises.Supply chain plays a great role in enhancing the competitiveness ofenterprises. The competition between individual enterprises graduallyevolved into competition between supply chains. Therefore, it is necessary toimprove the efficiency of the whole supply chain, and in this way, thecompetitive strength can be obtained.The previous procurement and distribution partern for Xinjiang TianshanUranium Company used to be the independent purchasing and distributionby each factory team. Purchasing plan was scattered, and it was not possibleto form a large-scale procurement. In the process of procurement anddistribution, each factory team could not share the information and resourceseffectively, and this resulted in a waste of resources and low efficiency ofprocurement and distribution. By comparing the domestic and internationalprocurement and distribution pattern, Xinjiang Tianshan Uranium Companychose the pattern of centralized purchasing and unified distribution andreconstructed the procurement process, the settlement process and thesupervision system. The new procurement and distribution pattern optimizedthe company’s procurement and distribution process, enhanced thecompany’s competitiveness and produced good economic benefit to thecompany.This dissertation thesis gives the background information of currentprocurement and distribution pattern and discusses the coorperativeproblems resulted from the supply procurement and distribution in Xinjiang Tianshan Uranium Company. The theory on supply chain management,purchase management and distribution management is used to discuss thecurrent situation for Xinjiang Tianshan Uranium Company, to identify theproblems for the company and to determine the adequate procurement anddistribution pattern for the company. The problems within the currentprocurement and distribution pattern are analyzed by checking each link forthe pattern. On the basis of the theory, a new procurement and distributionpattern is proposed, a series of measures are taken to adapt to the new patternand the procurement process is optimized.
