With the development of industrialization, the electric tool industry has been rapidly developed; electric tools products renewal speed is very quick. Therefore, for the electric tool enterprises, it is very important strategic meaning to develop new power tool, also it is the important pillar for the survival and development of enterprises. Golden Triangle of the new production development is consisting of schedule、cost and performance. This study will be focusing on the schedule management of the rotary hammer production development based on the actual project development in company T to improve and optimize the plan and control of project schedule.First of all, based on what I have learned about the knowledge of project management, analyzed the status of project management implemented in the new hammer drill product development in T company. The project managers in T company do not understand the project management ideas, do not understand the process of project management, especially, they are lack of basic theoretical knowledge of project management, thus caused problems in the project management, such as the problem of organization structure, the problem of project planning and control, the problem of product development process, and vague, no-effective risk the control system. This paper will collect and sort out something about new product development why suitable for using project management, basic theory and knowledge of how to formulate a reasonable plan and schedule control planning, how to effectively solve the T company to the other, lack of project management cognition, and focused on solving the existing problems in project planning and control.Second, based on the project management theories and methods, study the formulation of the new hammer drill product development project schedule. Formulate the quality of key points of R&D department according to the requirement from customer which was obtained from the market department investigation, then use the structure of the scope of work for decomposition technology work, to form a relatively independent and interrelated project activities; the use of double code network diagram for preliminary sorting of the project activities, estimate activity time according to the historical data and experience, use Microsoft Project software to develop preliminary project schedule; to form the final project schedule by using buffer technology according to the historical data in T company,.Third, studied the measures and methods adopted in project schedule control. Based on the formulation of project progress tracking and progress control process, the dynamic monitoring was used to monitor actual progress of the project; according to the collected information, compared with the original schedule, by using Gantt chart; analyzed the root cause to cause this deviation and effect on project schedule; figured out a way to solve this deviation, and make sure the project progress plan can be controlled.Finally, summarize the good experience about project management in the new hammer drill production project in T Company. And point out what I can do better in the future.
