Research On Technology Management Of Strategic Emerging Industry Based On Technology Roadmaps

With the development of social and economic, industrial upgrading and emerging industry which rely on advanced technology has become the research focus of current global society. In 2010, China determined to acceleratory develop seven strategic emerging industries which depend on the significant innovation and break of technology. After the proposition of strategic emerging industries, many researchers recognized that the lower market concentration and technology level appeared in the development of strategic emerging industry had hindered its healthy growth. Finding and discovering the advanced technologies, confirming the developing status and application prospect of key technologies are the effective means to improve the technological level and realize the sustainable development of emerging industries. Modern technology change fast, confirming the growing trend of emerging technologies and grasping the evolution process of core technology is the key problem in developing emerging industries.As an effective tool of technological management, technology roadmaps have been widely used in technology forecasting of enterprise, industry and country aspects. In this article, technology roadmap is applied to research on the management of technology in strategic emerging industries. First, it proposed the background, significant, idea and contents of the research, and overviewed the research project, method and theoretical support by summarizing and reading literatures on technology roadmaps, management of technology and emerging industries. The mainly part of this paper is building the formulate process of strategic emerging industrial technology roadmaps. The bibliometrics and scientific knowledge map would be brought in the formulate process to identify the key technologies, and then combined with the traditional method to form the final formulate process. To verify the effectiveness of strategic emerging industrial technology roadmaps, this article takes the PV industry as an example. The established process is used to analyze the market requirement, industrial targets, technological barriers, developing needs and resources of the photovoltaic industry. Finally it made the technology roadmaps of PV technology roadmaps and proposed relative advices and suggestions to improve the effectiveness and scientificity of strategic emerging industrial technology roadmaps. At the last, this paper summarized the research results and proposed the inadequacy of the research.
