Poverty has been much concerned in the world, but the traditional indicators like income or consumption are insufficient to fully reflect of poverty. Therefore, it is necessary to use multidimensional model in poverty measure. In this paper, the database CHNS is used to provide data of families and adults and fuzzy set approach is the method we choose.By use TFR approach to measure the regions and the country’s poverty, the poverty situation of different dimensions and different regions is analyzed. Then, adopting the IFR approach which combined monetary and non-monetary dimensions in a whole,we come to the result. The results shows that the methods of fuzzy set consider more of the distribution than the traditional method. Families in eastern areas are poorer in housing and health dimensions, and the central families performance worse in income and environmental dimensions.
