To reduce and eliminate poverty is a long-term task in the global process of economic development.In China,the problem of poverty in rural areas in the urban and rural "two yuan" social structure has been the focus of the theory and practice of departments concerned,while the rural elderly is the high-risk population of poverty.A large number of studies show that in terms of relative or absolute amount look,this group of older compared to other groups who are prone to poor population.Therefore,the elderly in rural areas of poverty,the causes of poverty,to reduce poverty,there are more theoretical and practical significance as well as accurate poverty.For a long time,the theory and practice departments with "income" as the sole indicator of poor judgment,this standard in practice has the advantages of simple operation,easy to confirm,but pure income can only measure the material to meet demand,this "one sidedness" in multidimensional poverty theory greatly improved the Multidimensional Poverty is.In the quality of life and subjective well-being,the external environment,the comprehensive representation of his own ability and own social skills as a whole.The concept of Multidimensional Poverty produced in 1980s,2000 after China scholars began to study the problem of poverty Chinese using multidimensional poverty method.But judging from the current research results,research on the rural elderly the problem of poverty is the lack of people.More importantly,although the existing results have begun to shift from macroscopic to microcosmic research study,but is the most Most of the studies are selected to measure poverty scale index from the "family perspective",not "point" to "point" of continuity and change individual state of poverty,poverty is difficult to clear the mechanism of poor individual,it is difficult for the precise poverty guidelines direction effectively.In view of this,this paper use China and health pension tracking survey data,measurement,tracking and further explore the causes of poverty.The specific contents are as follows:First,we design a multidimensional poverty index system which contains 4 dimensions and 18 indicators from the perspective of individual.It includes health,old age security,relative economic level,living standard and social participation,which are closely related to the "welfare" of the elderly.Secondly,using the A-F method combined with the design of index system,the use of China health and pension tracking database in 2011 and 2013 data,estimates of the elderly people in rural China poverty.Through the analysis of the data found that from 2011 to 2013,the single dimension of the incidence of poverty and poverty index multidimensional have been improved.At the same time,on 2011 and 2013 a sample of "point" to "point" tracking the state of poverty continued and change.That continued poverty more than 50%people,less than 1/4 of the elderly people out of poverty.Third,this paper uses Logistic regression analysis of related factors of influence on poor probability,results showed that the elderly receive subsistence allowances,other factors increased the probability of occurrence of poverty.To live with their children,road conditions,community facilities to improve the living environment and the development of regional economy will contribute to reducing the probability of poverty.The innovation of this paper lies in:in the study object,in the past most of the studies are selected to measure poverty scale index from the family perspective,this paper designs the index system from the perspective of "individual perspective" the 4 dimensions of 18 indicators;and the "point" of the "point" of continuity and change the individual state of poverty.This study also has some disadvantages:first,due to the availability of data and data processing feasibility and other reasons,so that part of the dimension of index selection is not accurate.For example income index from current assets to replace the weights;secondly,other indicators between the dimensions of practice,in fact,the the dimension for the impact of poverty is not the same,take this rough assignment way there are some loopholes.
