Manufacturing industry as an important pillar of the national economy andits development level is the basic revelation of international competitiveness.However, manufacturing industry of high pollution, high energy consumption andhigh emissions accounts for a considerable proportion of greenhouse gasemissions in our country. For manufacturing industry which is in the key periodof upgrading and structural transformation, the improvement of low-carboninnovation ability can achieve economic benefit and environmental benefit at thesame time and cut off the relationship between economic growth and greenhousegases. At present, low-carbon innovation system is the important way to realizethe promotion of manufacturing low-carbon innovation ability, and intellectualproperty strategy can be a strategic weapon for manufacturing low-carboninnovation system, but also an important guarantee for the high-efficiencyoperation of the low carbon innovation system.Under this background, this paper studies intellectual property strategy ofmanufacturing low-carbon innovation system and its selection.First, this paper analyzes the related concepts of intellectual propertystrategy and low-carbon innovation system, and elaborates the intellectualproperty strategy’s impact on low-carbon innovation ability of manufacturinglow-carbon innovation system.Second, on the basis of existing literature, the intellectual property strategyis divided into intellectual property creation strategy, intellectual propertyprotection strategy, intellectual property management strategy, intellectualproperty application strategy. The system influence factors are divided intointernal R&D and knowledge resources and external innovation environment, and the low carbon innovation ability are be divided into low-carbon R&D ability,low-carbon manufacturing ability and low-carbon marketing ability. Usingsystem factors as mediation, the influence mechanism of intellectual propertystrategy on low carbon innovation ability of China manufacturing low-carboninnovation system are studied.Third, according to the related statistical yearbook data, this paper uses thestructural equation model to empirically analyze the conceptual model andSWOT to analyze the development environment of manufacturing low-carboninnovation system in our country and formulates the intellectual property strategyof China manufacturing low-carbon innovation system combining withtheoretical analysis and empirical analysis,.Finally, according to the theory analysis and empirical results of intellectualproperty strategy and manufacturing low-carbon innovation system, targetedpolicy recommendations with theoretical basis are proposed.
