The issue of urbanization and agricultural science and technology progress hasbeen an important research field of scholars, however, there few of scholarscombined the urbanization with agricultural science and technology prgress to study.The agriculture science and technology progress and the urbanization are neverparallel and independent development,but rather interacting with each other. On theone hand, the ability to drive large radiation generated by the process of urbanizationact on the process of agricultural modernization, one of the performance isagricultural science and technology progress.On the other hand, with increasing levelsof agricultural technology, agricultural modernization development will promote anon-agricultural industry cluster is characterized by further improve the level ofurbanization. The healthy joint development of agricultural science and technologyand urbanization is propulsion of sustained economic growth.The mechanism of agricultural science and technology development andurbanization are coordinated through two interrelated mechanisms achieved, one isagricultural science and technology on the impact of urbanization mechanism, and theother is the process of urbanization of agricultural science and technology impactmechanism. The conclusion showed that there is a stable long-term dynamicequilibrium between the agricultural science and technology and urbanization inLiaoning Province.However agricultural science and technology progress is not theGranger cause of urbanization,the opposite is ture. Therefore，these explainedLiaoning Province has not formed a collaborative development mechanism ofagricultural Scientific and technological progress and urbanization yet.The main factors hindering agriculture technological progress and urbanizationof joint development in Liaoning Province including low cultural quality of ruralpractitioners in Liaoning Province,the low level of agricultural industrializationdegree, the household registration management system of rural-urban divided and thelow degree of development of tertiary industry.Therefore, we proposed sucha as toimprove the cultural quality of Liaoning Province, strengthen personnel training inrural areas, improve agricultural technology service system, promote institutional innovation,eliminate institutional obstacles to rural-urban divide, optimizing industrial structure,vigorously develop the tertiary industry and strengthening the pace of agricultural information,comprehensively promote agricultural industrialization management and other policymeasures to achieve healthy joint development of agricultural science and technologydevelopment and urbanization in Liaoning Province.
