The Effect Model Of Technology Import To Independent Innovation

In the knowledge-based economy age, with the rapiddevelopment of knowledge, science and technology has improvedgreatly. As a result, science and technology has become the one ofthe important indicators to measure a nation’s development force aswell as an important factor to promote economic growth. Therefore,countries all around the world are committed to the competition ofscience and technology. Generally speaking, there are two ways toimprove the level of technology: one is the import of technology andthe other is innovation independently. But according to developedcountries such as Japan, South Korea, the technological progress ofexperience shows that technology transfer is the most direct andeffective way to improve their technical level. However, China, as oneof the most developing nation in the world, due to its low level oftechnical ability, The import of technology is likely to lead to fall intothe vicious circle of import-lag behind-import again-lag behind. To our country, there is great significance of importing the technology andindependent innovation constantly, for it’s a kind of alternative andcomplementary effect between them.This article first uses an entry point that includes introduction,transformation, digestion and absorption, R&D injection. And itanalyses the effect model of technology import to independentinnovation pattern of asymptotic stage. Then it is divided into fivestages: drive, introduction, modification, digestion, absorption andR&D, and analyzes each stage of the influence of the effect factors onthe relationship between the two, in reality due to the restriction ofvarious factors on technology import at any stage is likely to bealternative or complementary pattern formation of independentinnovation. And effect factors of each stage can be summarized asspending money and input of science and technology personnel, bothconstitutes the interaction mechanism of independent innovation intechnology transfer the technical ability. Therefore, the role oftechnology import to independent innovation pattern asymptoticeffect stage the essence of which is the logical path of technicalability transmutation. In this paper, the empirical part, usingeconometric analysis method, technical ability as the breakthroughpoint to probe into high technology industry in our country in practice,the influence of the technology import to independent innovation effect, thus to find out the influence on independent innovation intechnology transfer problems and alternative or complementarypattern exists on that stage. The final results show that thetechnology import of high technology industry in China improved thenational income, promoted the economic growth in China, but itproduced an alternative mode of independent innovation. Combinedwith social reality, paying a lot of the funds for introduction, it takesmuch of the subsequent spending. In addition, lack of funds has beena serious problem to introduction of technology and the introductionof digestion and absorption in our country. All of these causealternative modes of technology introduction of high technologyindustry in our country to independent innovation. Finally we givesome feasible countermeasures and suggestions for China---how touse the technology import to promote our country’s independentinnovation and the level of technology.
