Project Plan & Risk Management Of A Coal Logistics Park

Coal is the foundation of our country energy, is the principal part of primary energy structure in our country.With the development of economy and the quickening pace of urbanization, the demand for coal still further increases dramatically.Uneven distribution of coal resources in our country, SZ city of Gansu province has rich resources of coal and oil, covering the whole city of coal resources, 236 billion tons, equivalent to three Datong reserves, accounting for 94% of the gansu province.SZ’s huge coal reserves, strong production capacity will be a huge advantage of large coal logistics park development in the region. How is the feasibility of this project? How to make effective project and implementation plan? What measures should be taken to prevent possible risks and to improve the project becomes a problem. Therefore, the thesis research has practical significance.In this paper, we take SZ Coal Logistics Park project as a case, deals with the research background in chapter1; covers the theory of project management, risk management theory in section2; analyzes the feasibility in terms of its present situation, business needs, and demand forecasting in chapter3; treats the project plan, project implementation, possible risks and coping strategies in the following chapters. At last, we make a summary and prospect. Through this practice, we enrich the theoretical knowledge of project management and risk management.
