Study On The Reasonable Taxi Fare Of Changchun

With the development of economic and the expansion of urban city size, the travel times and distances has greatly increased, and their requirements of travel tools is also increasing, consequently, the importance of urban passenger traffic system is become increasingly prominent. Taxi plays an important role in the urban passenger transport system, and it is indispensable, to a certain extent, it can make up for the deficiency of conventional public transport; The development level of taxi directly reflects the level of urban passenger transport, furthermore positive development and operation environment is conducive to the establishment to the city mage, also can better meet the residents’ daily travel demand.Reasonable taxi price can affect the decision-making behavior of the traveler, by changing the travel cost and travel demand, thus affects the distribution ratio of passenger transport system. Currently, the taxi fare of Changchun is lower than the national average level of large and medium cities, which allows part of travelers select a more convenient taxi travel instead of bus, light rail and other travel modes, resulting in high taxi trip proportion; and lower price makes the drivers earn less, which lead to the phenomenon of carpool and rejection during the operation process, resultly seriously reduce the service quality. Therefore, this paper proposes the method to adjust the taxi travel rates using the principle of price leverage, to keep the taxi distribution-mode in a reasonable range, and ensure the urban traffic develop healthily, steadily and smoothly.Firstly, this paper analyzes the current situation in Changchun taxi field, and summarizes the existing problems in taxi industry; then described in details the contents, methods and design of findings report of resident trip survey and taxi price survey, analyzes the related factors that affect the residents’ travel, and identifies the way of price adjustment combined the starting price and mileage price based on the taxi price survey results.Secondly, this paper selects characteristic variables from the three aspects of the travelers characteristics, travel characteristics and traffic facilities characteristics, then establishes travel mode choice, and analyze the price sensitivity get a reasonable average travel cost.Finally, based on the taxi price survey data, this paper calculates the range of acceptable starting price and mileage price using price sensitivity measurement; then calculates a reasonable taxi price using genetic algorithm.The research results show that the method combined the establishment of travel mode choice, price sensitivity measurement and genetic algorithm is reasonable. Price leverage can regulate the taxi sharing ratio, which has significance for adjusting urban transport mode, optimizing structure of urban traffic system, promoting the development of public transport and other green traffic and ensuring the healthy development of urban traffic. In addition, there are certain theoretical and practical significance to the future taxi pricing system study.
