TBM is one of the important mechanical equipment for contemporary tunneling engineering.The crushed stone and sand produced during the tunneling process needs a rapid and efficient continuous conveyor to transport to the back side,to ensure the continuity of their operations.Belt conveyor has the advantage of fast,large capacity,long distance transportation,heat and corrosion resistance,etc.which becomes the most commonly used bulk material handling equipment in the field of transport equipment.Therefore,belt conveyor has been used in many TBMs and shield machines as crushed stone and waste soil transport equipment.The performance of the tensioning device of the belt conveyor is one of the key factors that determine the working efficiency and reliability of the belt conveyor.Due to the layout space of the TBM belt conveyor is limited.it is more difficult to design a belt conveyor.This paper is about the research on designing method of tension device of the belt conveyor matching with TBM based on the work experience and previous project.According to the analysis of environmental factors such as working conditions and special requirements,the research work is based on the analysis of the belt tension of the belt conveyer in this project.In view of the problems of the traditional type of tensioning device and its common location,put forward the basic structure and arrangement of tensioning device.In order to ensure the economy and reliability of the structural design of the tensioning device,the finite element structural analysis method is used to analyze the structure performance and determine the reasonable structure and parameters so that its performance is obviously superior to the traditional structure.In addition,in order to improve the force of the tensioning carriage and the tensioning screw,it is more convenient to adjust the tensioning device during the actual work,so that one-way thrust ball bearings are introduced at the tensioning screw and the locknut.The tensioning device studied in this paper has been put into practical use,proving the design is successful in performance and effectiveness.Therefore,the research work in this paper provides a meaningful reference for TBM Belt Conveyor Tensioning Device.
