A Translation Project Report Of Mental Disorders And Disabilities Among Low-Income Children (Chapters ? And ?)

This translation project is fixated on Mental Disorders and Disabilities Among Low-Income Children(Chapters I and II, which was presented by Thomas F. Boat and Joel T. Wu in 2015. It introduces the background and major functions of SSI program for children with mental disorders, presents findings on the prevalence trends of specific mental disorders in America, commits to evaluate the Supplemental Security Income Disability Program for Children with Mental Disorders. This translation project makes more people know more about SSI program for children with mental disorders and some of mental disorders, which plays a positive role in both making policy and preventing childhood disabilities.In the translation report, the translator analyzes some typical problems during the translation process. The report is divided into five parts. Chapter one is an introduction which includes translation project and structure of the report. Chapter two has the background information and analysis of the original text. Chapter three introduces the translation theories that have been adopted in this report. Chapter four, as the major part of this report, illustrates the problems during the translation and the solutions to these problems, such as long sentence, words choosing. Chapter five concludes translation experience gained and problems to be solved.
