At present, with the deepening of the globalization and internationalization, the relation between China and Britain has been much closer. And at the time of ringing in the Chinese New Year of 2016, the year of the monkey, the UK Prime Minister David Cameron held a reception at his official residence on 8th, February. Mr. Cameron said that the last year was a golden year for the relations between China and Britain. From the beginning of last year, to Prince William visited China, and Britain joined the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank(AIIB), from High-level dialogue between the two countries, to Mr.Xi Jinping, chairman of People's Republic of China paid a super state visit to Britain, the relations between China and Britain has gained a historical development and stepped into a new stage. The UK Prime Minister David Cameron's speeches reflect Britain's politics, economy, culture and society in some extent. By study his speeches, it will benefits the cultural exchange and play a guiding role in our interpretation practice.This report presented here is in the form of an interpretation report. The author selected respectively three speeches given by the UK Prime Minister David Cameron.They are the speech of Inaugural Address, the final speech in Aberdeen, Scotland before the country goes to the polls in Thursday's referendum and the speech to the Federation of Small Businesses in 2014. The author set the three speeches as the simulated consecutive interpretation practice materials. This report made a record of a more complete simulated consecutive interpretation practice process from the preparation before interpretation practice to the problems arising from the practice and also the summary and introspection after the practice.From the perspective of the Interpretive Theory, the author set the related speeches given by the UK Prime Minister David Cameron as the study object, and did the simulated consecutive interpretation practice. This report is divided into five chapters.Chapter one is introduction; Chapter two is the description of the simulated consecutive interpretation task and the interpreter, which refers to the responsibility of the interpreter,the interpretation background information and the related characteristics of the interpretation task; Chapter Three is the record of the interpretation process, mainlyincludes the preparation work before interpretation, the problems arising during interpretation, where the author emphasized six aspects from the problems. They are the dealing with lengthy sentence interpretation, the dealing with short sentence interpretation, the time control of interpretation, the management of the difference between Chinese and western culture, the dealing with terminology interpretation and the supplement to the sentences without a complete meaning; In chapter four, under the guidance of the Interpretive Theory and considering each speech's text feature, the author put forward the interpretation strategies coping with those six problems arising from the practice where the author stress his argument on the practical application of the Interpretive Theory; And chapter five is the summary and introspection of the whole report during the process of the simulated consecutive interpretation practice.
