A Report On C-E Translation Of One Excerpt From Chinese Contemporary Politics

This translation practice report was finished under the background that Chinese culture embraced the world and was known by more and more countries.The text is one of the forms of political publicity texts and it is an important way for China to communicate with the world.Because of the increasingly closer contact with the world today,the translation of Chinese political texts is more and more important.This translation project is part of the Contemporary Political China translation project and this translation practice report is the summary of the project,aiming to provide theoretical and practical guidance and accumulation for future translation practice.At the same time taking Skopostheorie as the guidance of translation theories,the author analyzes the difficulties in the translation process and uses the translation methods such as literal translation,amplification,omission and so on to solve these difficulties.During the paper the author summarizes the translation experience of political text so as to provide a model for future political texts translation.
