Learning motivation is an important factor to students,and it influences student's academic achievement.Most of the research object of the learning motivation are college students,there are few studies on primary school students,the stage of primary school is the basic period for students to develop good learning motivation,so,it has great theoretical and practical significance to study the present situation of primary school student's learning motivation and intervention for primary school student's learning motivation.This study is based on the summary of the research on student's learning motivation,using the learning motivation diagnostic test(MAAT)which was revised by Professor Zhou Bucheng,and this test was applied to the students from grade four to grade six in a primary school,a total of 273 students.According to the results of the survey,we selected 19 subjects who had lower scores on learning motivation,they were randomly divided into experimental group(9 students)and control group(10students),and intervention of the students in the experimental group by using solution-focused group therapy.The results of this study are as follows:(1)There are significant differences between boys and girls in learning skill and learning life,and girls' scores are significantly higher than boys;(2)The primary school students' learning motivation is different in the grade of learning knowledge and learning life,in the dimension of learning knowledge,grade five is higher than grade four,and in the dimension of learning life,grade six is higher than grade four;(3)On the dimension of avoidance of learning motivation,there was significant difference between the scores of the only child and the non only child,and the only child's scores less than the non only child;(4)Solution-focused group therapy is an effective way to improve primary school students' learning motivation,before the experiment,there was no difference between the experimental group and the control group in the dimensions of learning motivation and the total score;after intervention,there were significant differences on thelearning knowledge,learning skill and achievement motivation between the experimental group and the control group;(5)Solution-focused group therapy is an effective way to improve primary school students' learning motivation,after intervention,there were significant differences on the learning knowledge,learning skill,achievement motivation and learning motivation between the pretest and posttest in experimental group;and there was significant difference on anxiety and intense between the pretest and posttest in control group.
