A Report On The Translation Of Improving The Global Energy Industry By Integrating Macro-technologies

In modern society,many English scientific literature that deserve translating are unable to be translated for some reasons.This report is based on the study of the translation of Improving the Global Energy Industry by Integrating Macro-technologies,a thesis published on the science journal,SCIRP.By analyzing the connection of the translation and the given translation theory,the report discusses the translation skills at three levels—vocabulary,long sentence and paragraph for the purpose of benefiting translators to gain better equivalence effect in translating.The report is composed of six parts: the first part is the introduction which describes the background and values of the research,as well as the structure of this report;the second part is about the introduction to the translation project in terms of the content and the characteristics of the English text;the third part introduces the translation process,including the time management,effectiveness and quality control of in-translation and the work of post-translation;the forth part presents the framework of the functional equivalence theory;the fifth part is the case study in which the text will be analyzed from the perspective of vocabulary,sentence and paragraph;the last one is the conclusion involving the problems the writer faced in translation process and the correspondent solutions,the gain and the limitations,so as to provide the coming translators some suggestions for translation.
