The assessment of civil servant is an important basic work in the management of civil servants.In recent years,from the regulations released successively in our country,the assessment of civil servants is not only the daily management work,but also affects civil servants' s career development more and more.So there are strong demand of practical work and theoretical research on how to furtherly strengthen and improve the assessment of civil servant'work.From 2014,Public security department of Sichuan province has organized and carried out the assessment of civil servant performance in its own organs in combination with the unit organization specifications?the actual situation of cadres and the work characteristics.Since the work began,it has furtherly improved the assessment of civil servant work,furtherly strengthened its management of civil servants,and furtherly enhanced the work quality.This paper analyzed the cases of the assessment of civil servant performance in Public security department of Sichuan province.Based on the three periods of assessment-before the assessment,during the assessment,and after the assessment,the paper researched the three aspects,which refers to assessment rules design,assessment paper analyzed the enlightenment of the assessment of civil servant,hoping to provide a reference to strengthening and improving the assessment of civil servant performance of other departments and regions.By using case analysis method,this paper systematically proceeds the research in the assessment of civil servant performance of the Public security department of Sichuan province and refines experience from the perspective of public management,which would have strong practical significance and theoretical value.This paper includes four parts.The first part is raising the question,which mainly includes the research background,content,ideas and methods of the assessment of civil servant performance,as well as the typicality analysis of it.The second part is the status analysis.This part will detailedly elaborate the specific practices.The third part is about to analyze the three critical factors of civil servant assessment of Public security department of Sichuan province,and to research and evaluate from the three aspects of assessment rules design,assessment organization and implementation and assessment result application.The last part is to analyze and refine the enlightenment of the civilservant assessment performance,summarize the research conclusion,and make a outlook on the future research in the of assessment of civil servant performance.
