Rural Women's Participation In Community Service

After the reform and opening up,the community has gradually become an important part in people's daily life.It is not only the spatial support for the survival of urban residents,but also the administrative planning objectives of the development and construction of rural areas.The realization of rural areas in the vicinity of urbanization,steady construction of new rural communities,not only is the call of the government,but also the focus of the new rural construction.With the development of urban and rural community construction in our country,community service has become the main theme of the community construction in our country.The coupling relationship between community service and residents is getting higher and higher.Now in the rural areas of China,with the upgrading of the new rural construction,Community service development has entered a period of rapid development.Residents are the most widely involved in community service,rural residents,especially rural women's participation degree in social affairs enhances unceasingly,in addition to play a role in agricultural production,land ownership and other work,but also became the "main force" in rural community service,hold up "half the sky" in the welfare service,the convenience and benefit of community service.Based on this,this article takes the social gender theory as the breakthrough point,choose a village to change the community S village in Xi'an as the object of study,research on rural community service from the perspective of women's participation,by using the theory of social governance and the theory of sociology,got a comprehensive analysis of the participation of women in S Village.First of all,through participatory observation,in-depth interviews and so on to get first-hand information,describes the S village women's participation in community services;Secondly,through the data from the questionnaire,analyzed the influence of participation motivation and consciousness on rural women's participation in community service,and combined with the advantages and disadvantages of women,discusses the gender advantages and obstacles of their participation in community service.Finally,it is pointed out that there are some differences in the physical ability of rural women who can provide the service for the community,by analyzing the problems existing in the rural women's participation in community service represented by S village,provide feasible suggestions for the rural women's participation in community service from improving the consciousness of participation,improving their own quality,departments such as the women's Federation collaborative efforts,in order to provide reference for women's participation in rural areas in China.
