As Chinese industrialization and urbanization progress, a large number of landless farmers are increasingly merging. For most of the landless farmers, land is the basis for everyone. After losing their lands, most of the farmers usually come and work in the city. They are named as "migrant workers". It means that enormous changes happen in their living and working environment. That is to say, farmers lost the last their life welfare in countryside. However, few of them could find decent jobs, nor even could they earn well payment. In addition, the unskilled, elderly and weak ones are even more difficult in feeding themselves. The only jobs they obtain are the most weary, dangerous and dirty. Although construction of cities create fortunes for China, those "migrant workers" can't share such welfare, nor even could they enjoy the same level with the health, education, income, and other social insurances as native citizens. In local areas,some officials may lack scientific evidence and decision-making that intentionally lower compensations of land acquisition, house demolition for the land owners, farmers. In turn, the farmers suffer such unprecedented loses. Thus land acquisition, demolition has become a major source of rural conflicts of all kinds. Many farmers are eager to receive the compensations, however, they are afraid to lose social welfare and insurance at the same time. Currently,a series of problems are existing in comparatively low social welfare, the low accumulating fortune before land acquisition, no pension, and no health care. Farmers as well as their descendants, will lose their basis due to losing their land,"Iron Bowl". Obviously, in the case of the shortage of social insurance and welfare,landless peasants in some places have become the new poor groups. Mi town in Xiangyang High-Tech Distict is a representation, I will analyze the current situation of landless peasants.
