A Comparative Study On The Police Occupational Safety Risk Prevention And Control System Of China And Australia

Issues on security have been existing since the beginning of human labor.Every occupation has a risk.After the industrial revolution,occupational injury caused a lot of attention.Western countries are at the forefront in occupational safety and health legislation,management system,and discipline construction.As one of the high-risk occupations,the occupational safety issues of police have also been valued by many countries.Developed countries and regions have taken a number of effective measures to prevent and control police occupational safety risks,and the number of occupational injuries in police has been greatly reduced.Among the countries and regions,Australia and Hong Kong have many valuable experiences in police occupational safety management.The occupational safety management of inland China started late,and mainly focused on the field of production.Because of the lagging occupational safety management and the long adhered idea like "don't fear sacrifice","don't rest until serious injured",there have been continuous job-related injuries and casualties.This has not only affected the implementation of police duties,but also brought great harm to their families.Therefore,it is necessary to make a comparative study on the occupational safety risk prevention and control system of Australia and China,and draw lessons from the advanced experience of Australia and Hong Kong to make up for the shortcomings of the occupational safety risk prevention and control system in mainland China.Based on the theory of accident causation and risk management,this paper makes a comparative study on the police occupational safety risk prevention and control system of China and Australia from the perspective of legal system,management system and safety culture,by means of historical research and comparative research.This paper is consisted of 4 chapters.Chapter 1 introduces the background and purpose of the research,the literature review and related concepts.Chapter 2 introduces the police occupational safety risk prevention and control system in Australia and Hong Kong.Chapter 3 introduces the current situation and existing problems of police occupational safety risk prevention and control system in mainland China.And finally in Chapter 4 the author compares the occupational safety risk prevention and control system of Australia and China,and puts forward suggestions to establish and perfect the police occupational safety risk prevention and control system in the mainland based on the advanced experiences of Australia and Hong Kong,expecting to prevent and control the occupational safety and health risks of mainland police,reduce the number of police injuries and casualties,enhance their professional life quality and promote the process of socialist harmonious society.This paper studies Australia,Hong Kong and Mainland China,in which Macao and Taiwan are excluded.
