Research On Media's Public Opinion Guidance In Emergency Handling

Public security emergencies are an emergency state of public crisis,with sudden and uncertainties.The news media acting as an authoritative information platform in the process of emergencies.Releasing news,eliminating public doubts,alleviating public tensions,enhancing public confidence,playing correct public opinion,are extremely important to properly handling public Security emergencies.This paper analyzes the principles,status and problems of the media in the guidance of public opinion,by reviewing the research results of Chinese and foreign scholars,with the examples of media public opinion guidance in public security emergencies in recent years,and found problems in previous studies,put forward their own views,striving to study on the basis of previous studies,enabling the news media to guide the correct public opinion in the course of answering questions in the development of Chinese society,Taking the responsibility of the media to build a better social environment for the handling of mass emergencies,providing a reference in disposing of public opinion with public security emergencies to guide the viable path for the relevant government departments.
