The Sino-Japanese War and Siege of the International Legations are very important content in middle school history teaching, the mainly teaching aim of this part is enable students to understand these two wars have brought grave national crisis and national crisis to Chinese, and greatly depended the suffering consciousness of Chinese, thus becoming an important turning point in modern Chinese Nation Awakening.Through junior high school's general history learning, senior students have certain degree of knowledge of the Sino-Japanese War and Siege of the International Legations. Their learning needs and learning ability are stronger than in junior high school, they are willing to analyze the cause of the historical events, but also have a certain ability of independent analysis and think. Thus a high-history lesson on the "Sino-Japanese War and the Boxer Rebellion Invasion" teaching is no longer as simple as junior high school's combing textbook, but must be based on historical knowledge memorizing, analyzing Sino-Japanese defeat brought grave disaster and impact to China. In particular, to guide students to analyze this historical figure Li Hongzhang through specific historical data, the different reaction between before and after of the two signed, understanding the helpless of personal fate and the fate of nation in that age, to enable students to deeply understand the Sino-Japanese War was a major turning point in modern Chinese Nation Awakening.This paper, focusing curriculum standards, teaching content, instructional design, teaching practice and eflection of From First Sino-Japanese Jiawu War to Siege of the International Legations which was adopted by Yuelu version of the senior high school history.Curriculum standards, determining the teaching conception of nation disaster and national crisis inspired of national awakening,three-dimensional object, important and difficult point of teaching and teaching links are designed focusing on this teaching conception. Finally, based on teachingpractice and teaching evaluation, teaching reflection and summary of instructional design and re-modify lesson plans make the teaching design to better adapt history teaching.
