Higher education system is a hierarchical ordering and complex system, different parts bear different social functions. Academic undergraduate education as a necessary integral part in higher education ecological environment, has always had the task of undergraduate academic talents. Unlike the popular applied and skills-based education, academic undergraduate education that is the main part in the research universities provides the education of "possibility" which contributes the emerging of academic talent, trains the critical thinking and preliminary academic research capabilities of students. But it should be noted that, at the stage of mass higher education which is multiple as well as symbiotic, the macro-goals of academic undergraduate education need to be clearly determined pursuit of "high-quality, being concise." In other words, academic education and applied education have no hierarchy and the level of high and low, only have a difference in number and function.Although the function of higher education increasingly diverse, unquestionably, its core functions remain training of talented person. Needless to say, a well-ordered and high quality higher education ecosystem will certainly need to constantly improve the training mode. Academic undergraduate education is even more so. While academic training model in different regions and inter-school has a certain degree of similarity and isomorphism, but in fact, we are unlikely to be based on a common recognition and accurate model to investigate the many links of undergraduate academic talent culture. But even so, we are still able to generalize from different modes of undergraduate academic talents condensing the general rules and characteristics. It means personnel training "norm". Thus, this paper will be specifically divide training model as six level system, such the idea of education, training objectives, teaching mode, the system of curriculum, the system of training, the mechanism of evaluation, Starting from last dimension to co-ordinate the relationship between the change of history and the face of reality of our academic talent training mode. Namely, based on the current dimensions we compare academic training model at home and abroad with the horizontal measure. Followed, we are going to integrally consider the component of regularity in the each national personnel training mode. Finally, providing experience for the enhance of quality and changes to training model of our academic undergraduate education. This paper divided into six parts:Part I:The author introduce the paper mainly from the five aspects:the background and origin of research, current at home and abroad and commentary of research, significance and value of research, ideas and methods of research, and core concepts definition. And initially erect a technical research road-map about academic talents "norm".Part II:Systematically expound the change of history and the face of reality of academic talents training mode. Overall induction, generalization and concision the general rules and characteristics in the academic training model at the history of each mode, try to sort out connection between its historical context and contemporary status of system model development.Part III:Problem-examination and attribution analysis our current academic undergraduate education training model, I must look some deviation which exist in the model and deeply analyses its origins on the basis of fully grasp the historical context of academic personnel training.Part IV:As world-class comprehensive university and top liberal arts colleges are examined objects, in accordance with the six specific level of training model and the relevant principles of logic, I systematically analyze the successful experience and common features of its undergraduate academic talents. By theory contemplation and perspective of practice its training model, it can provide a lot of available international reference for changes about our training mode of undergraduate academic education.Part V:On the base of affirming our reformatory effectiveness about talent training mode of academic undergraduate education, critically reflection current training mode, learn and absorbing the successful experience of world-class comprehensive university and top liberal arts colleges, I propose the main path of Chinese undergraduate academic training mode reform.Part VI:The author briefly discuss and summarize the process of research and the conclusions of the study.
