With the deepening integration of information technology and education, Blended learning has become an inevitable choice of school education and thus the importance of online curriculum resources further highlights. departments of higher education in China are speeding up their pace of educational informationization,with aims to improve online teaching platforms' services and teaching quality through the application of information and multi-media technology. However, several problems were found during practice, such as low page view, less public attention and incomplete functions that cause unsatisfaction to learners. Compared with China's Excellent Resource-sharing Courses and their western counterparts, those online courses provided by foreign top universities enjoy more popularity and influence among global learners and professors, especially the worldwide approved American Coursera Education Platform which provides advanced functions of learning tracking, assignment assessment and interactive communication.The purpose of this study was a comparative study of domestic Collectibles shared courses and Coursera platform, differences were found between the two and the consequences of, identify problems, explore the reasons, on the basis of fully draw on experience in building Coursera platform to enhance our network the overall level curriculum platform. This paper applies the literature analysis method and comparative method with related literature and theories and hopes to provide a solid theoretical basis and supporting materials for the study. Through comparative method, this paper will conduct a comparative analysis on China's Excellent Resource-sharing Courses and the Coursera MOOC Platform in terms of their concept of course construction, safeguard mechanism of funding, protection of intellectual property, evaluation and running mode of courses, educational philosophy, instructional design, learning support services and team building. Through a comparative study found differences reveal the problem to obtain a building inspiration.From the comparative study, the paper gained insights for course construction and drawn several further conclusions, including: the concepts of course construction and educational ideas in Chinese educators should be optimized and updated urgently; the diversity of funding source will promote the sustainable development of online teaching platform; the absence of intellectual property regulations is imprisoning teaching teams' innovative impetus; the operations of MOOC require new evaluation and running mode to meet market demand; the deepening integration of information technology and teaching research is meeting individual learning needs; the development of supportive learning services will improve the bonding and learning effect among online learners; the further running of online courses will make the construction of teaching team more professionally and scientifically. In the end, this paper puts forward some reference proposals for the construction of Excellent Resource-sharing Courses in China, such as: to introduce more advanced concepts and technologies into the Excellent Resource-sharing Courses; to absorb more investments and funding to secure the construction expense; to strength the protection of intellectual property to ensure the legal rights of teaching team; to combine the features of online education and improve the teaching design; to make full use of information technology and bring innovation into the evaluation and running mode of online courses; to excavate the learning patterns of online users and provide more personalized learning services; and to strengthen the team building in order to coordinate the course development.
