With the advance of the new curriculum,this has been brought into the classrooms by many Chinese elementary school teachers.In this research,the author will discuss the connection between picture book and Chinese textbook,it's problems,current statues,and the potential benefit of picture book reading through literature research,text analysis,action research method.In order to improve the students' listening and speaking ability,the author has made a preliminary attempt in the teaching practice,which not only in the content,also the detailed idea of the method.With the understanding and analysis of the feasibility based on the present situation,combined with the content and the language features of Jiangsu elementary school Chinese textbook of first,second,and fourth grade the author developed a set of picture book reading system,with the purpose to help students improve their Chinese language ability.The author hopes to provide more elementary school teachers more teaching ideas,and the majority of parents with reading methods.
