China’s higher vocational education has stepped into the formal development path from location short-term vocational university about over thirty years through the nineties of the twentieth century.Currently,the number of higher vocational colleges is higher than that of ordinary colleges and Universities.The number of students in school more than ten million annually and equate to general higher education in terms of scale.Look back in history,the development of higher vocational education closely related to China’s economic soar.Higher vocational education has become an important technical force incubator base by provided qualified personnel to industry,agriculture and service industry.Why higher vocational education provides high-end skilled personnel of economic and social needs?The reason is implementation of practical teaching.That is to say,the level of practice teaching decides the quality of qualified personnel in higher vocational education in recent years,with China’s economic transforming and upgrading,technology upgrading,higher personnel training requirements are put forward.Thus,the research of higher vocational education is proposed in this essay.In this paper,in order to improve China’s present practice teaching quality in Higher Vocational Education,the problems and methods are proposed to improve the teaching effect.The main content includes the following five parts:Chapter ? is introduction.In this part,research background,research significant,purpose of research and research methods are showed.At the same time,research results of practice teaching of higher vocational education both domestic and overseas are proposed.Chapter ?is theory foundation and practical form of higher vocational practical teaching in China.First,what is practice teaching of higher vocational education and its functions have been showed.Second,the basic theories like Marxist practice theory,knowledge-based view,situated learning are explained to practice teaching of higher vocational education.The last part is about characteristics and forms of higher vocational education.Chapter? is policy guidance and mainstream model of higher vocational practical teaching in China.In this part,policies of practice teaching of higher vocational education in China are settled totally and the situation of High-end technical talents shortage is pointed.At the same time,four practice teaching modes are proposed to reflect practice teaching effect.Chapter? is problems of practical teaching for higher vocational education in China.In this part,the following problems are proposed;those are low level funds supply,entrepreneurial training implementation,inconspicuous higher characters and lack of participation of enterprises and industries.Chapter? is strategies of promoting higher vocational practical teaching level in China.Four main ideas are proposed to improve practice teaching and optimize the current higher vocational education system in China.
