The development and utilization of curriculum resource is a highlight in the new curriculum reform.Local curriculum resource,as an important part of historical curriculum resource,is getting more and more attention of the teachers and students,which opens the door for local curriculum resource to junior school history classes.Luoyang,as a birthplace of Chinese civilization,is essential in Chinese history especially in the ancient Chinese history.Its history provides plenty of local curriculum resources for the junior school history teaching.To apply these into the junior school history teaching can not only provide plenty of teaching materials for it but also motivate students’ interest,which is also a sign of the improvement of the history teaching level.The thesis is based on the rich local city curriculum resources in Luoyang and discusses plenty of teaching cases as well as the development and utilization methods of the local history curriculum resources,aiming to improve the junior school teaching.There are three parts in this thesis,introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction explains the reason of choosing this topic and the significance of the research.It also analyses overseas and domestic research status and illuminates the research method and innovation.The value and significance of studying the local curriculum resource in the junior school history teaching are also clarified in this part.There are five chapters in the main body part.Chapter one introduces five different parts of the local history curriculum resources,which are places of interest,religious culture,patriotism education base,fairy tales and the customs.Chapter two integrates Luoyang local curriculum resources with the junior school history textbook according to chronological order.It comes up with some suggestions and the target for the utilization with the combination of the junior school history textbook of East China Normal University Press and Luoyang local curriculum resources and presents these in a form.Chapter three is the key point of the thesis.It’s mainly based on the classroom teaching practice and discusses the application methods of the local curriculum resources in the junior high school history teaching through typical cases from history classroom teaching,the explorative research activities and the project learning activities,which provides some references for the current junior school teaching.Chapter four mainly talks about the application of the textbook in Luoyang junior school history teaching.Taking the experiment teaching from the textbook 《 Transition to Socialism》as an example,it states the application methods of junior school textbook and the results and also reflects about the application status of the textbook in the junior school teaching.Chapter five discovers the problems of Luoyang local curriculum resources in the application of junior school history teaching which is based on questionnaire and interview to teachers,students and parents and proposes some reasonable solutions to these problems.The conclusion part makes a summary for the thesis and discusses the prospect of the topic and the limitation of the thesis.
