Key Competencies,has been a very crucial concept in our education field.Key Competencies is a concept which points out some critical competencies,consisting the core part in accomplishment system of students.It is beyond knowledge and interdisciplinary.However,the research on key competencies at home are still progressing.It remains to be further discussed on how to apply the theories to teaching practice.Physics,regarding itself as a science subject,relates to almost every aspect of our living and social development,which is considered as one of the great source of Key Competencies learning materials.On the other hand,course competency is an important part of the whole Key Competencies System.From previous experiences,developing subject key competencies plays an important role in achieving students' overall key competencies.Therefore,promoting and improving physics key competencies is the primitive goal for our physics subject.By working on the previous studies both from home and abroad,defining the concept of physics key competencies,this paper correctively defines the physics key competencies,reflecting the physics concept,scientific thinking,experiment research,scientific attitudes and responsibilities.Based on this,practical teaching strategies are discussed by using some related education theories.According to the author's own teaching practice,cases are studied in order to analyze the following teaching strategies:infiltrating subject thoughts,emphasizing logic reasoning,conducting case studies and absorbing the knowledge gained from social development.To analyze the reliability of the teaching strategies,the paper compares the development levels of physics key competencies between experiment group and control group.The assessment adopts a combination of knowledge test,scientifically-conceptualized situation test and evaluation charts to assess the competencies.The differences on basic knowledge,thinking ability,experimenting techniques,attitudes towards science study,study interest and social responsibility are further analyzed according to the test results of both two groups.Following rules has been proved.To start with,physics thinking pattern is the essence of this subject,which enables students to locate the possible and correct ways to solve problems.Second,the rigorous deductions of physics concepts and rules provide good materials for cultivating students' thinking strategies.Third,deepening inquiry-based teaching can help students better solve problems.Lastly,social development knowledge should be added in the class,which trains students' social responsibility.
