Research On Application Of Shaanxi Red Culture In High School "Cultural Life" Course

In 2001,the new round basic education curriculum reform was carried out nationwide.Its guiding document “Guidelines for Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Tentative)” proposes that the new curriculum reform is to “actively develop and utilize the various curriculum resources no matter in or out of schools.” The development and utilization of curriculum resources is an important content in this curriculum reform.Therefore,the concept of curriculum resources has received widespread attention.The ideological and political course that in traditional teaching conception is tedious and vapid.It’s hard to stimulate students’ interests in learning.In order to improve the situation,the teachers need to change their teaching conception,build the new curriculum resources view and develop curriculum resources.In practical teaching,if the classroom teaching gets support from curriculum resources,the classes will be vivid and interesting and student’s learning efficiency will be improved.As one kind of curriculum resources,Shaanxi red culture has rich contents,various species,profound energetic connotation.Shaanxi red culture is the general term for material and spiritual wealth created by Shaanxi people which in the led of Party organizations from the period of new-democratic revolution to the period of socialist construction.The revolution sites,the memorials and the former residences of great men in Shaanxi province and Yan’an Spirit all belong to Shaanxi red culture.“Cultural Life” is one of the important modules of the ideological and political course in senior high school,it guides the students to correctly deal with various cultural phenomenon and to carry forward the spirit of the Chinese nation,and it pays more attention to the cultivation of students’ cultural capacity.As one kind of curriculum resources,the applications of Shaanxi red culture in high school “Cultural Life” courses,on the one hand,are conductive to rich the curriculum resources of the ideological and political course,make the teaching content close to real life and improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching,on the other hand,are also conductive to play the education function of red culture,help the students to form the correct outlook on world,life and values and cultivate students’ good moral character and spiritual pursuits.Firstly,this article introduced Shaanxi red culture.On the basis of elaborating the meaning of the red culture,it analyzed the background and the forming process of Shaanxi red culture,combed the geographical distribution of Shaanxi red culture in Shaanxi province and classified the Shaanxi red culture.Secondly,it illuminated the meaning of the applications of Shaanxi red culture in high school “Cultural Life” course.The applications can benefit of the curriculum reform of the course of ideology and politics,the establishment of the students’ outlook on world,life and values,the the professional development of teachers,the inheritance of Shaanxi red culture.Thirdly,it elaborated the principles of the applications of Shaanxi red culture in high school “Cultural Life” course.They were “three being close to” principle,the flexibility principle,the distinction principle and the sharing principle.Lastly,it proposed the countermeasures and forms of the applications of Shaanxi red culture in high school “Cultural Life” course.The three application countermeasures were to establish correct curriculum resources view,to set up scientific assessment system and to take full advantage of internet.The five application forms were to optimize the process of teaching,to open the elective course,to appreciate red works,to hold theme events and to organize social practice activities.
